Finding movies that are not tainted with dark messages is getting more and more challenging. There is a weight with the darkness that takes away your breath if you can see and hear it…However, most people have become desensitized and never even notice.
MOVIE FAVORITES
Joshua – Official Trailer
Love, Love, Love this movie. It is an older one but I have recommended this movie to everyone I know. If you ever are feeling like you need a pick me up this movie will accomplish that for you. I gave this one a big thumbs up! It is a great story about a stranger who comes into a small town and finds ways to help a number of people find their way. It also had a surprise, a guest appearance by Third Day. Worth your time and attention. Let us know what you think.
Faith Like Potatoes – Official Trailer
Well worth the time and attention to this Christian Film. Grab yourself some popcorn and a big box of tissues and sit down. I found this one to be an emotional roller coaster full of trials and heartwarming ups and downs. It is real and you will learn about what it means to have faith as they navigate the storms. You will not be getting up until the film is over. Another great one to watch for inspiration…
Unconditional – Official Trailer
Well I thought this one was going to be more of a who done it but I was pleasantly surprised! This movie has been referred to as a Christian oriented drama in reviews. I will say grab that box of tissues once again and sit down for a warm message of love and hope as they are pulled back from the shadows of pain and the torment of the world. I really enjoyed it, a thumbs up from me!
A Matter of Faith – Official Trailer
A story about a college student who is caught up in the challenge to her faith and its affect on her popularity. Additionally, the debate about mans origins creation vs. evolution. All in all it was a good movie to watch as the message was a strong Christian message and I identified with the characters.
King’s Faith – Official Trailer
I found the plot of this movie confusing initially but it soon became clearer. A youth who was in juvenile incarceration is released into a faith family after finding Jesus himself. He is then challenged by the very life that destroyed him the first time around. There is also a subplot regarding the family who fosters him after having lost their own son as a police officer in the line of duty. A subplot about the prom queen who has some dark shadows of her own. It was worth the time to find your way through this plot as it was filled with uplifting moments of faith and conviction. I would recommend this film to all adult audiences.

Left Behind II – Tribulation Force

Left Behind III – World at War

This concept has been attempted oh so many times since this original version but in this writers opinion they have never been able to hold a candle to this version from the early years. One of these movies has a guest appearance from Bishop TD Jakes of the The Potters House . Love, Love, Love this trilogy watched it like a million times now and intend to keep watching it, actually I might just pop in my DVD now and watch it again!
My apologies for the quality of these clips due to age I assume I was not able to find official trailers on YouTube so this was the best we could find for now.,
MOVIES NOT SO FAVORITE
Divination – Official Trailer
This is the first movie in a Trilogy. I was expecting something more spiritual I suppose and this one seemed more focused to the dark special effects. In all fairness it did warn that it was intended to enlighten the non-believer. So I assume it was presented in a more “of the world” technique but I take the position that the approach needed some refining. I did not continue to watch the trilogy as I found the content too dark and without much merit…
