But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Diligently – ADVERB
In a way that shows care and conscientiousness in one’s work or duties
I first met my wife in 1987. We were a blind date. We double dated that night with my brother and his then girlfriend. Fast forward a year later, I was managing a Pizza shop in Baltimore, MD. What I didn’t know was that she would spend hours, after dark, sitting in the parking lot watching me make pizza’s. She was very DILIGENT in what she wanted, ME. Fast forward another year, we got married. We were together for 25 years till she passed away on September 26, 2013.
In our scripture, above, the writer of Hebrews tells us that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seeks Him.
On the Flip side he also seeks us.
Ezekiel 34:11,16a
For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. I will seek that which was lost…
Luke 19:10
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Who are you DILIGENTLY seeking?
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
